We own a CrossFit gym and had the 2012 Southwest Regional Games in Castle Rock. We brought our whole team down to stay at the ranch for 3 nights and 3 days! I am certain that our stay is different than most but we had an awesome stay, the views are amazing and the house is beautiful! There is MORE than enough sleeping room, and places where you can get away if you need to. WE did a lot of cooking and eating, so the two kitchens were perfect! The taxidermy is amazing, I think at one point we tried to count them all...but failed :) We enjoyed dinners on the back patio, and hot tub time watching the sunset. Cindy and Gary were awesome and anything we needed was provided with warmth and hospitality! We would highly recommend staying here is you are looking to get away, but still be close to the city. We were not able to use the firepit or enjoy the horses but I can only imagine this would add to anyone's stay! If we ever head back to the area we will return for sure!

Finding this listing and the immediate response from the owners started a great experience. The location was perfect! Right outside of Castle Rock, convenient to restaurants, the Outlets for shopping and the interstate. The beautiful drive to the home couldn't even prepare you for the spectacular view from the property. Lots of wildlife sightings, breathtaking day and night views; very relaxing and spacious. Our family enjoyed the pool table, hot tub, outdoor grill, basketball goal, shooting range, walks and relaxing on the deck. Not to mention all the space indoors - to be able to house 7 people and at times not even know where people are... You could go to an area, read a book and have peace and quiet. A very relaxing experience! The home is absolutely gorgeous with lots of entertainment and comfort. The decor and furnishings are very nice! The home was clean and furnished with all the necessities. We spent lots of time in the kitchen and large dining table. Eating, playing games, telling stories around the fire pit under the stars. Words or pictures really can't totally explain the beauty offered by the home and property. All of the above plus the exceptional hospitality offered by the owners from beginning to end made a truly magical experience for our family. We would recommend this property to anyone and definitely plan to return in the future. A special thanks to Cindy & Gary for their hospitality and contact during the arrangements and stay. Their hospitality to our family was touching and we cannot thank them enough for sharing their amazing home.

...what an incredible blessing to be in your cozy, peaceful, gorgeous lodge. I was delighted to see five horses grazing behind our bedroom the first morning I woke up...we drove in the dark the night before and I had no idea what loveliness awaited us. I can't begin to thank you enough for letting my family get together in your fabulous home. We have had a fantastic time. We have been able to relax, we weren't on top of each other - plenty of room for all - and that was with us having seven folks. I think we made use of everything - we played pool, got in the hot tub, used the target range, and the fire pit. My stepson was on leave from Afghanistan and he said this was by far the best leave he's ever had!! It has been a thoroughly enjoyable experience and we would all like to thank you so much for that experience. We also loved the hummingbirds, mule deer, elk, and your barn cat "Midnight". ...the sunrise view in the morning was spectacular! The house had everything we needed to have a peaceful and enjoyable stay! My wife (the active one) was able to have horseback riding lessons and me (the couch potato, er...I mean intellectual, contemplative type) got to sit on the very comfy couch, watch the views, and read!

...the house was absolutely wonderful! The 10 of enjoyed the hot tub, massage, trail rides, etc. The fire pit was a wonderful place to see the stars, make smores, sing etc! You are both so gracious and warm! Thanks for the welcome basket too! This made a great memory!

...you have provided an atmosphere for relaxation, fun, beauty and bounty! We had such a wonderful nursing class reunion. Massage, horseback riding, kittens to pet and ambiance to boot. You even opened up your kitchen and bar-b-que for us to cook with! The hot tub was also wonderful. Thank you!
